Makeup + Skincare

“Clean beauty” has become a bit of a buzzword these days. While some may just gloss over it I’ve found that the more research I’ve done I see how important it is to include as many clean beauty products as possible in my kit.

Did you know that the skin is the largest organ in our body? Did you also know that there have been no major beauty industry reforms passed since the 1930’s? Just think how far things have come since then! Many products on the market have ingredients that are known carcinogens, hormone disrupters, and more. For this reason, I want to give my clients access to products that they can feel good about putting on their skin.

To provide my clients with a luxury clean beauty experience I’ve chosen to partner with Beautycounter to bring you as many clean products as I can. I trust their products and I have seen how well they perform time and time again. I cannot get every item I need from Beautycounter so I often turn to my favorite local clean beauty shop, Trellis Beauty. The owner Traci is a wealth of knowledge on the clean beauty industry.

My kit is about 85% clean products and I am striving to make it 100% clean beauty products by the end of 2018!

"There are more than 80,000 chemicals on the market today. Many don't have any safety data. This is particularly true of those used in the skin care and beauty industry."
